Lab on the Go.
For our senior capstone, my team and I developed LabOTG—a standalone, 3 lb handheld multi-analyzer combining a ±20 V power supply, a 10 MHz function generator, and a digital multimeter.
SupplyProgrammable ±20 V · CC/CV regulation · Up to 2 A on the +V rail
GeneratorDDS, 0.1 Hz–10 MHz · Sine, square, triangle, and sawtooth
DMMVoltage (±50 V), current (0–2 A), resistance, and capacitance · Auto-ranging
Power4S Li-Po battery · USB-C Power Delivery
INSTRUMENT CONCEPTSYS / 004
Three instruments. One handheld.
A DC power supply, function generator, and digital multimeter are consolidated into the Lab on the Go handheld device. The enclosure concept shows a display, terminal pairs, and front connectors. The 3 lb standalone device integrates a ±20 V supply, a function generator up to 10 MHz, a digital multimeter, and battery power with USB-C. This is a concept illustration, not a live instrument readout.
